Honda Culture October Meet

That Time again for me to get my arse up to Milton Keynes to hang with the HC Family. It was cold, but I was looking forward to Nando’s with the guys, I love Nandos.
Typically, i spent a few hours cleaning my car, Tom come over and started to clean his, then it started raining, and i honestly thought the orwell bridge was going to be my only option.

Side tracking for a minute, People with Black cars, how do you do it?!? Ive owned mine since September 25th, and its 15th November today, and i already want a re-spray, it just always looks like its been in a rally

Polo. Sam Polo

 

 

I knew the car before i knew the owner, he’s had it since I started really getting to know the guys involved in car scenes around colchester etc. It’s been through alot of changes, but as it stands now it is defiantly (in my opinion) looking its best.
Sam, weather he liked it or not has adapted his name to this car, thats how well everyone knew it and that it was his car, Anyone that mentioned “Sam Polo” we knew who it was.
He rang me to say that his car was being sold, but he didnt have any pictures & i also had no shoots lined up for 6TWO1 So perfect reason to get the camera out.
I will find out some more details about the car from him but im fairly sure its a G40 With an Eaton Supercharger?

Saturday was looong

My day Started on the Rolling Road, which i was honestly expecting around 200Bhp from reading on forum’s the horror stories of the cars loosing power over time.

 

It got 219.5 Bhp at the Fly, it seems to have gained 2.5bhp over 7 years Which i dont quite understand?
but im not complaining. just proves the engine is strong. I will get it done again when i have some more money elsewhere to try getting a fair figure, but this Dyno doesnt normally over-read, if anything it gives lesser figures, but whatever lol.
im going to give it a Service, change the plugs etc, only using what is advised by people that know best obviously!
Got a few more plans for the bodyshop, Smooth the plate off and get it relocated.

Back when I first made this post, I was still very new to blogging. I have made some small changes to make it a bit more of a pleasant read but I feel DN’s car had a big impact in the UK Scene and that it need’s revisiting…

“Honda’s with stance are rice” – This is a quote, from a guy that drives a standard Toyota Corolla on the well known English Civic from Civiclife.net.

I’d beg to differ.

 

Instead of that idiot fanboy “stance is rice, look at me im trying to be different by hating the guys that do it differently” approach, maybe it’s just someone taking a different outlook to modifying a Honda?

 

Personally, I couldnt give a monkey’s if a car is set up to be slammed, to be a track car, to be parked upside down in a skip on a friday night after 1 to many Jägerbombs. As long as the car’s owner is a nice guy/girl, then who care’s? end of the day we all have different backgrounds and upbringings that make us who we are and if we are all in it for the same thing, then what’s the issue, why the divide?
